The mantra of Russia losing, being weak, and being beaten by sanctions is more than 400 days old and still can't come to fruition. Pushing this narrative further down the road is counterproductive. Of course, the Russian narrative that all is honky dory or at least not that bad also stinks with a strong propaganda smell but come on. Statements like this in Foreign Policy?
This is pure wishful thinking. This won't bring us anywhere. Their economy is on a war footing. At war, it is not about increasing the standard of living but about winning. Are we, the West on war footing? Are we doing everything to win? They are...
The claim that this equipment will be destroyed is also wishful thinking based on previous actions and propaganda pushed from every corner of the Internet and mainstream media. Russia has adapted and will adapt even more. They wont change as fast as Western armies or as good as they would do it but they will change. Tough times are ahead for Ukraine. Pushing over-optimistic assumptions won't help them win.
