For some, this might be a bombshell others will play that down. Few will start to point out that the accessing countries are insignificant due to their size or GDP or whatever.
The fact of the matter is that the Global South is getting stronger, and the Liberal West is weakening. Those 19 nations won't join BRICS immediately. It will be a process, but when BRICS will reveal the full list, I might dive into it a bit.
The worst-case scenario is that more will follow. It might force Washington to try to tighten its relationships with key allies and somehow force them to stand their ground. It might lead us to two blocks that eventually might stand against themselves. Let us hope that this won't end like this.
